​The Best Of Houzz is awarded annually in three categories: Design, Customer Service and Photography. Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 35 million monthly users on Houzz. Three percent of professional accounts received this honor.

2019 North Carolina Home Builders Association STARS award, Best Addition

​This project is not only a testament to sustainability, but what can be done with good design. Our French Country project was a total renovation to a 1950's ranch which included adding a new upper level and distinctive roof line. Construction by Seymour Construction.

2016 CotY Regional Winner for Entire House Under $250K, Region 2 Southeast

The Daylight House was a complete rebuild in the historic area of Charlotte's Commonwealth Neighborhood. One of the unique features of the house are second-story shed dormers that bring daylight into the kitchen and master bath from high above. Barn doors, contemporary gas fireplaces and a large wood-floored shower bring unexpected touches to the home. DPS Construction entered the project in The National Contractor of the Year awards.

Daylight House, Commonwealth Neighborhood, Charlotte, NC. Entered in the local chapter awards program by DPS Construction.

2014 Merit Award, (Re)Framing Charlotte Architectural Competition, AIA Charlotte & The Mecklenburg Times Newspaper

The Lemonade House was designed for an open competition to all Charlotte architects to design a house to represent The City of Charlotte and it's architectural style.

2013 First Place, Remodeler's Council  Excellence in Remodeling, Whole House Renovation Design $160K-$240K, Homebuilders Association of Charlotte

The Glass House was a full renovation to create a contemporary interior in a house located in the historic district of Dilworth. The exterior had to reflect the context of the neighborhood and strictly adhere to the traditional guidelines of the Historic Commission of Charlotte.

The Gateway House is on the border of the historic district in Dilworth and was designed to mark the entry into the area with a strong bungalow form.

The Gateway House is full of traditional details that recall the elements of the past From a hand-hammered copper sink to the bubbles in the front door glass, the house looks and feel original.

2005 Historic Renovation Of The Year, Excellence in Remodeling, Homebuilder's Association of Charlotte

The Stained Glass House located in Historic Dilworth kept it's street side massing, but added a new second floor and doubled the square-footage without changing the proportions of the streetscape. Charleston gas lamps and stained glass accents lead you from room to room.
